Achieving your child’s potential

-

IF you’ve always had a feeling that your child’s potential is not fully nurtured, fear not. Early learning expert Glenn Doman has found out that a child’s brain will grow approximately twice in size from birth till two years of age. The brain also grows to almost full capacity by the time the child reaches six years old.

With 60 years of specialised research in child neurological development, the result is the Glenn Doman programme, which is designed to bring out physical, intellectual and social excellence in children.

Malaysia’s first Glenn Doman Centre is open at The Curious Academy in Damansara Heights.

The Curious Academy is a member company of The Be Group, which has developed a collection of lifestyle and property brands carrying the lifestyle preferences of its founder Datuk Jared Lim.

The Curious Academy’s aims are simple and the same as parents everywhere – to create a space where kids can have fun, yet enjoy learning at the same time.

Sounds like wishful thinking? The Curious Academy hits the sweet spot, with facilities such as indoor playground, tree house, outdoor obstacle course playground, child-size marketplace, rock climbing wall and even a heated salt chlorinated swimming pool for infants to six years old.

Children’s safety is prioritised with security guards available throughout opening hours.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

In the Glenn Doman Physical Excellence Class, children test out their natural gymnastic skills, where they learn to use the horizontal bar, balancing beam and brachiating bar.

Children can tumble, bounce and run to their hearts’ content while parents can relax in the comfortable and clean wait area.

The Curious Academy is happy to announce that it has extended its Glenn Doman Enrichment Programs to Daily Programs for children from 20 months to five years old.

The daily programme includes Glenn Doman Physical Excellence session and also lots of fun, creative, exciting educational activities conducted in English and Mandarin. Registration is now open.
