Guess Kids showcases the season’s must-have silhouettes for young boys and girls.
IT seems that style really knows no age limit. The pleasures of fashion are something to be enjoyed by children too. With Guess Kids, your young ones can play dress up in a variety of trendy looks.
The Autumn 2014 collection from the label highlights some standout silhouettes that kids (or rather, their parents) will love. Its different attractive pieces will also be perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
For girls, it is the use of denim that dominates. These are observed in the form of skirts, jeans, jackets and tops. A cardigan paired with ruffled, floral print dresses for example, denote an overall sweet and pretty feel.
The boys can look forward to classic navy blazers and denim jackets. While plaid button-down flannels and distressed denim jeans give off an effortlessly cool vibe, graphic sweatshirts and tees paired with dark-wash denim add to the relaxed feel. Guess Kids’ collection for the season is also about innovation and texture. In this context, it is said to push boys and girls to not only be daring but fashion forward, as well.
Denim is foiled, whether it be black or a rich jewel tone for the holidays. There is also a cloud wash with appliqués to tie back to the comic-book inspiration seen in the graphics.
For those who like their denims with a little extra shine, Guess is offering a range of studded and sequinned designs. Others come adorned with lace and screen prints, in addition to those with a touch of acid wash.
Some of the label’s darkest rinses and coats are making an appearance. The ultra-destroy “black wash” is for the rocker-to-be and the blue-black “scraper wash” provides a fresh feel.
In terms of shades, saturated hues colour denim using an attractive palette. Also look out for patches and foiled camo prints that are absolutely edgy. These together, add depth to the season’s collection.
