A very creamy Xmas
WE all scream for ice cream! Here’s another reason to celebrate during the festivital this year as Haagen-Dazs comes up with its limited edition flavour of Vanilla & Florentine.
Packed with the crunch of almond nuts, tangy kick of oranges, and sweetness of caramel all infused in a creamy concoction, the inspiration behind its flavour can be traced back to the desserts of the royalty across France and Italy during the 17th century.
Along with the launch of this new flavour, Haagen-Dazs has revealed a line-up of other celebratory desserts.
The Best of Christmas is a sweet palette, consisting of a raspberry-powdered Vanilla & Florence flavoured ice cream, served alongside a scoop of Classic Milk ice cream and a cocoa yule log.
Meanwhile, the Christmas Story comprises four servings of ice cream sandwich, featuring the Vanilla & Florentine, Vanilla & Cream, and Raspberry Sorbet flavours. The co-stars include whipped cream, drizzled chocolate sauce and fresh fruits.
Catered to chocoholics, the Haagen-Dazs Christmas Fondue features melted cocoa sauce, served with pastries and mini scoops of ice cream.
The Christmas Wonder is a marriage of the Vanilla & Florentine and Raspberry Sorbet ice creams, laced with raspberries, chocolate almond sticks and whipped cream.
This year, Haagen-Dazs illuminates the season with two variations of Christmas cake.
The Christmas Baubles is a delightful serving of Belgian Chocolate ice cream, which is the base of the cake. Nestled above is an array of berries, onto which scoops of raspberry-powdered Vanilla & Florentine ice cream are delicately placed.
The Haagen-Dazs Chalet has walls of Macadamia Nuts ice cream standing on a base of chocolate sponge cake. This structure is accompanied by berries, pieces of chocolate and whipped cream.
The Vanilla & Florentine ice cream is available in pints (457ml) at RM31.90 at all HaagenDazs cafes, leading hypermarkets and supermarkets nationwide. The Best of Christmas, Christmas Story and Haagen-Dazs Chocolate Fondue are available via dine-in only, while the Christmas Wonder is a takeaway creation.
