Shaping up naturally

-

TO get in shape for the figure you want, natural is the way to go. The Hypoxi method is an all-natural and non-invasive treatment to help you achieve that figure you dream of by using only vacuum and compression to help improve lymphatic drainage by improving blood circulation in targeted areas, such as the stomach, hips, waist and buttocks.

The Hypoxi method involves sitting in an airtight chamber and doing low-intensity exercises within it.

Conventional exercise only burns fat on the moving parts of your body, such as the limbs, whereas doing exercise within the chamber increases blood circulation at the targeted area to help shape up that particular area.

A temperature probe is placed on the targeted area to track temperature increase – the ideal increase would be between 3°C to 5°C.

In any shape-up regime, exercise is a requirement as this transports fat to burn as fuel in the muscles.

The exercise prescribed by the Hypoxi method is complemented by a diet plan, which includes plenty of water and protein for optimal results.

According to owner, Cindy Chew, “We started this business because we noticed the Hypoxi method is proven and effective.”

Having been in the industry for over three years, the first studio was opened in late 2011 and has since garnered much positive response from customers.

Most customers do not have time for a rigorous exercise regime so Hypoxi is the answer for them- treatments only take half an hour three times a week. Many have found the results to be long lasting, as this is a natural method that works with the body. The long-lasting results are backed by clinical studies.

To extend its services to more people, Hypoxi is currently looking to expand by opening up to franchise operators to open more Hypoxi studios in the Klang Valley next year for customer’s convenience.

It is also looking to work towards a total wellness concept by offering a full range of wellness services and products under one roof, catering to customer convenience and needs for a holistic lifestyle and well-being.

Malaysians are becoming more health-conscious and aware about what they consume and the need for a balanced lifestyle, so Hypoxi is moving in that direction to provide for all their needs.

There are currently two Hypoxi studios – one in Plaza Damas 3 and another in Bangsar.

The Hypoxi method is from Austria and is a CE-certified health

and safety product.
