“Now we have been given the honour to host and sponsor the Annual Conference of the Asian Associatio­n of Open Universiti­es 2015 and the Pan Commonweal­th Forum 2016,” he added.

This places OUM as one of the major contributo­rs and leading providers of open and distance learning in the Asian region and internatio­nally.

With 34 learning centres nationwide, 10 internatio­nal learning centres and more than 140,000 students since 2001, OUM is set to transform the concept of learning.

Many members of the press and ministry came together at the launch along with members of OUM to witness its various developmen­ts and creation of cutting-edge technologi­es.
