CARETAKER, humanitarian and a rewarding career – these are common descriptions associated with the nursing profession. Nurses work closely with doctors and are an important part of the health care team. They can upscale or get advanced training in a particular area of expertise.

As the world population continues to increase, so does the demand for skilled nurses. They work in various places besides hospitals such as factories, offices, schools, daycare centres, in the military, on cruise ships and many other places that need medical care.

Nurses work with people of all ages, cultural backgrounds and lifestyles to help them achieve the highest level of wellness possible.

International Medical College (IMC) has been offering its approved Diploma in Nursing programme since 1993. IMC has a long-standing reputation in providing nursing education that is internationally recognised.

Nursing students in IMC will have the opportunity to gain clinical exposure at Pantai Hospitals, Gleneagles Hospitals, government hospitals and community health clinics.

IMC graduates have consistently secured passes in the Malaysian Nursing Board Licensure examinations and are all employed.

In addition, graduates of the Diploma in Nursing from IMC will gain valuable practical working experience overseas. These opportunities are made available by the IHH group of hospitals, including the Acibadem Group of Hospitals (AGH) in Istanbul, Turkey.
