Medical pursuit

-

GLOBAL health conditions have been declining due to a shortage of doctors.

Many of these health experts have worked effortlessly for the improvement of health standards. The field of medicine is at the peak of success.

As mentioned in Vision 2020, the ideal ratio of doctors to patients should be 1:500. But due to the population increase in Malaysia, qualified doctors are again scarce.

There are many students who complete their SPM and STPM but fail to qualify for medical courses in local universities despite scoring a perfect CGPA.

Medic Ed Consultant Sdn Bhd strives to help SPM and STPM students pursue their ambition of becoming doctors.

Russia has two top universities: Moscow State Medical University and Russian National Research Medical University.

Both have good academic records and are fully recognised by the World Health Organization, Public Services Department and Malaysia Medical Council.

In addition, the fees are affordable for middle-range families – as low as RM130,000 for six years – since it is subsidised by the govern- ment. The advantages of studying in Russia are its fun and interesting lecturing methods, environment, culture, independence and discipline.

The best part of working as a doctor is the excitement and anticipation of the unexpected during an emergency and the knowledge that you can assess and respond to it in a matter of seconds.

Upon completing the course, there are other pathways to pursue such as a medical lecturer or setting up a medical business.

Last but not least, Medic Ed's strong rapport with many universities abroad has enabled it to appoint representatives who are entrusted to look into the welfare and safety of its students.

The Medic Ed group encompasses TMC College, Hospital Aman, Skin Medic and Red Apple Dental Clinic, and is a partner of Clinic Mediviron.
