Thirdly, the academy is the pioneering market leader to offer a qualification delivered according to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) – the Australian Qualification Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. With just four additional modules, it creates a gateway of opportunities for graduates to enter the Australian workforce.

This certificate is the required qualification for a Professional Chef in Australia. It also leads to an academic pathway, allowing students to enter most universities in Australia for degree studies.

Cilantro Culinary Academy is also the only vocational culinary and pastry academy to receive the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) Quality Culinary Education Award.

Graduates of the academy in both diplomas are eligible for automatic certification at the Professional Cook (Commis Chef) level upon graduation from the City and Guilds programme.
