Gain a competitive edge
AS employment gets more competitive, the need for quality education becomes even more vital. Cilantro Culinary Academy offers five qualifications comprising local and international certifications that provide graduates with a competitive advantage.
Firstly, the Malaysian Skills Certificates (SKM 2 and SKM 3) are a formal nationally recognised qualification. It is a vital prerequisite to many vocational training grounds as graduates are trained to compete locally and in the global market.
The second certification is the international City and Guilds Level 2 IVQ. City and Guilds is the only awarding body dedicated to vocational learning in the United Kingdom. Its qualification is valued as it is developed in collaboration with key industry bodies, ensuring its relevancy in the market. It enhances career prospects due to its status as a globally recognised benchmark for excellence.
Thirdly, the academy is the pioneering market leader to offer a qualification delivered according to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) – the Australian Qualification Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. With just four additional modules, it creates a gateway of opportunities for graduates to enter the Australian workforce.
This certificate is the required qualification for a Professional Chef in Australia. It also leads to an academic pathway, allowing students to enter most universities in Australia for degree studies.
Cilantro Culinary Academy is also the only vocational culinary and pastry academy to receive the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) Quality Culinary Education Award.
Graduates of the academy in both diplomas are eligible for automatic certification at the Professional Cook (Commis Chef) level upon graduation from the City and Guilds programme. This is the first global culinary certification launched by WORLDCHEFS and City and Guilds. It is a global recognition of skills and industry experience, placing individuals at the forefront of the industry.
One academy offering a total of five qualifications from four different countries create a wealth of global opportunities, allowing students to gain the upper hand in the food and beverage industry.
