BORDERS Malaysia marked its special collaboration with parenting educational programme Positive Parenting with a A Meet-the-Experts session held on March 15 (Sunday) at the bookstore’s flagship outlet at The Gardens, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.

This was the first of a series of Meet-the-Experts sessions that will be held regularly at Borders stores nationwide.

He added: “A series of Meetthe-Experts sessions will also be held regularly at various Borders outlets that will be hosted by experts like paediatricians, nutritionists and psychologists/psychiatrists.

“It is our hope that these sessions will provide a platform for parents to gain more knowledge on parenting skills, child health and development and overall well-being through an interactive questions and answers session with the experts.”

Positive Parenting believes that through this meaningful partnership with Borders Malaysia, the programme will mark another successful milestone and reach out to even more Malaysian parents.

Positive Parenting, initiated by the Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA) in 2000, is an authoritative and pioneering parenting educational programme driven by key healthcare experts bodies such as the Malaysian Paediatric Association, Nutrition Society of Malaysia, Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia, Malaysian Mental Health Association and many others.

At the very core of Positive Parenting is delivering credible experts’ advice and guidance to young Malaysian parents on a myriad of topics relating to child health and development, nutrition as well as maternal and family wellness.
