Assurance of quality at QIUP

QUEST International University Perak (QIUP) is a young and dynamic university with equity participation from the Perak state government.

QIUP’s Foundation programmes are a great way for students to develop practical and academic skills after the SPM to help them embark on their journey towards higher education.

The Foundation in Business and Foundation in Science programmes have a practical focus with hands-on activities to help students gain the confidence and skills needed to participate effectively in tertiary studies.

QIUP’s goal is to develop well-rounded graduates who not only excel in their studies but also participate in conferences and educational competitions during their study here.

First-year medical undergraduates selected for the Third International Public Health Conference and 20th National Public Health Colloquium, which took place in Kuching, Sarawak, had their paper chosen among thousands submitted for selection.

This paper was titled “Prevalence of hypertension and its risk factors in an Orang Asli community in Perak, Malaysia”.

In addition, four undergraduates of the Bachelor of Computer Science programme were crowned champions at the national level of the IBM Mobilithon 2013 competition.

Faculties and network There are three faculties and one centre at QIUP.

At the foundation level, the programmes offered are Business and Science.

At the diploma level, Hotel Management, Business Management, Tourism Management and Accountancy programmes are offered.

A wide range of programmes is offered at degree level – Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biotechnology, Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electronics and Communications Engineering and more.

At the postgraduate level, the Master of Business Administration programme is offered.
