BIG Bang fans can rejoice come May as the boys will be making a grand return to the music scene. This comes more than three years after the release of their last album,

Yang Hyun-suk, head of YG Entertainment, said in an interview that the upcoming album will include the group’s “best song ever”.

Despite the three-year hiatus from the music scene, the five members have continued to appeal to K-pop fans with solo albums and appearances in dramas and films.

Who could forget Taeyang and his heartwrenching track? Together with bandmate GD, Taeyang also stormed the music charts last December with their musical collaboration Daesung successfully ended his solo concert tour in Japan and T.O.P appeared in several television ads and fashion magazines last year.

We’re not too sure what’s going on with Seungri though, who’s been under the radar ever since he admitted to speeding before a car crash in September last year. — The Korea Herald/Asia News Network YUNHO, one half of K-pop idol duo TVXQ, will enter military service this year. While his exact enlistment date is yet to be confirmed, the 30-year-old was reported to have cried at a recent Tokyo Dome concert, expressing regret that he wouldn’t be able to perform at concerts for a while.

Reports also say that bandmate Changmin will have to enter military service as well. The boys will be joining the list of stars who have since enlisted for mandatory military service this year — JYJ’s Jaejoong and Super Junior’s Sungmin and Shindong.
