World-class UK business studies
THE University of Reading Malaysia is expanding in the delivery of its world-class programmes in Malaysia.
Having delivered its Foundation in Business since September 2013, University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) launched its first undergraduate programme in September 2014: A BSc in Finance and Business Management delivered through its prestigious Henley Business School.
This programme combines the leadership and management studies for which Henley is famous for, with the knowledge of the banking and investment industry (a strong unique selling proposition in Henley’s finance department).
Two intakes for the BSc (one in September and one in January) will address the needs of the different secondary school systems in the country and increase options for students.
The University of Reading is renowned for its exciting and innovative research-led teaching, a friendly and supportive environment and an excellent graduate employability record.
Students at the new Malaysia campus will benefit from the same world-class student experience that is offered in the United Kingdom.
The cost of studying at UoRM is significantly lower than that of studying the same programme on the UK campus, yet the opportunities for learning are as diverse and varied.
UoRM has wonderful scholarship opportunities to celebrate the success of its students and awards for all high-achieving students throughout their studies.
UoRM’s soon-to-be-completed main campus in EduCity, Iskandar brings together the best of their UK campus experience with the natural and cultural environment in Malaysia. It will cater for up to 2,500 students.
The main campus opens this September, offering undergraduate level programmes (subject to approval by MOE) in the subject areas of Business and Management, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Quantity Surveying, Pharmacy, Psychology and Law; and programmes at postgraduate level from early 2016.
A range of new research collaborations is also being explored with Malaysian and international partners to further embed the university’s research excellence in the region.
