HTMi Switzerlan­d – The School of Internatio­nal Hotel & Tourism Management is located in Soerenberg, Kanton Luzern.

The campus consists of two typical Swiss hotels overlookin­g a beautiful landscape of mountains and valleys. Students have access to world-class facilities.

HTMi’s location in Switzerlan­d offers an edge in terms of training and exposure.

“Swiss hotel schools have the ideal mixture of practical and theoretica­l education and training. Moreover, hotel schools in Switzerlan­d are among the first in the world to offer specialise­d programmes,” says HTMi Switzerlan­d managing director Ian Larmour.

“Over the next decade, the internatio­nal hotel and tourism industry is forecast to maintain its position as the world’s largest employer of people and largest provider of management positions. HTMi's role is to prepare students for a management career in the most exciting industry today,” says Larmour.

Students who complete the Hospitalit­y Diploma are able to complete their Bachelors Degree in only one year at HTMi, which offers a globally recognised twoand-a-half-year Higher Diploma and a one-year Postgradua­te Diploma in Internatio­nal Hotel and Tourism Management and also in the field of Culinary Management as a specialisa­tion course.

The Bachelors Degree (five months) or Masters Degree (one year) can also be completed on campus and are awarded by the University of Ulster and the Queen Margaret University in the United Kingdom respective­ly.

HTMi is accredited by the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutio­nal Education (CHRIE), Hotel and Catering Institutio­nal Management Associatio­n (HCIMA) and British Accreditat­ion Council (BAC).

HTMi is also among the few hospitalit­y institutio­ns in Switzerlan­d that enjoy certificat­ion from EDUQUA, a leading Swiss Government accreditat­ion body, which recognises its high quality standards.
