Learn Swiss hospitality
IF you are considering a successful career in the hotel and tourism industry, HTMi can help you achieve your ambition.
HTMi Switzerland – The School of International Hotel & Tourism Management is located in Soerenberg, Kanton Luzern.
The campus consists of two typical Swiss hotels overlooking a beautiful landscape of mountains and valleys. Students have access to world-class facilities.
HTMi’s location in Switzerland offers an edge in terms of training and exposure.
“Swiss hotel schools have the ideal mixture of practical and theoretical education and training. Moreover, hotel schools in Switzerland are among the first in the world to offer specialised programmes,” says HTMi Switzerland managing director Ian Larmour.
“Over the next decade, the international hotel and tourism industry is forecast to maintain its position as the world’s largest employer of people and largest provider of management positions. HTMi's role is to prepare students for a management career in the most exciting industry today,” says Larmour.
Students who complete the Hospitality Diploma are able to complete their Bachelors Degree in only one year at HTMi, which offers a globally recognised twoand-a-half-year Higher Diploma and a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management and also in the field of Culinary Management as a specialisation course.
The Bachelors Degree (five months) or Masters Degree (one year) can also be completed on campus and are awarded by the University of Ulster and the Queen Margaret University in the United Kingdom respectively.
HTMi is accredited by the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (CHRIE), Hotel and Catering Institutional Management Association (HCIMA) and British Accreditation Council (BAC).
HTMi is also among the few hospitality institutions in Switzerland that enjoy certification from EDUQUA, a leading Swiss Government accreditation body, which recognises its high quality standards.
HTMi welcomes applications from students interested in an innovative curriculum and exciting challenge in the hospitality industry. The next intake starts on Aug 10.
