For sparkling clean surfaces

WHEN it comes to cleaning dry and wet floors systematically without missing a spot, nothing beats the iCLEBO Arte.

iCLEBO is made by Yujin Robot in South Korea, an original design manufacturer for several established brands of robotic cleaners and hi- tech robotic components for various industries as well as the military.

iCLEBO Arte is the top- end model from iCLEBO, equipped with triple CPUs for robot movements, vision camera and power control.

It is capable of mapping out the entire house, including the furniture, and enables this robot to clean systematically from room to room without any repeats.

iCLEBO Arte memorises where its charging station is and automatically returns when the battery level is low.

Once the iCLEBO Arte is fully charged, it will continue to clean areas that have not been completed.

iCLEBO is powered by an advanced lithium ion battery that charges faster and has a longer lifespan compared to conventional NiMH batteries.

It is able to work for up to three hours on a single charge and can fully recharge in less than two hours.

This makes iCLEBO Arte an ideal tool for compact apartments and luxury villas measuring up to 5,000sq ft.

Spick and span service

iCLEBO Arte automatically switches to “wet mop mode” when a damp ultra micro- fibre mopping pad is attached. Its three- step cleaning system leaves floors clean with a freshly mopped feeling.

Another signature feature of iCLEBO Arte is its ability to cross over barriers at a height of 20mm.

The TerraBot BL21A series is the flagship of the TerraBot top- of- the- line BL series, which is powered by the ARM Cortex- M3 processor made by ST- Ericsson.

Its intelligent navigation system is capable of capturing real- time data and calculating relevant cleaning motions to each space.

This model is designed to work on medium- sized double- storey link houses as it can cover up to 1,500sq ft with a single charge.

Meanwhile, the TerraBot neo BL11A- G is designed to work for up to 900sq ft in a single charge.

TerraBot retains core features such as the “anti- fall sensing system”, which senses stairs or drop offs, and “auto recharging”, which enables terraBot to return to its recharging station when it is low on power.

It also senses obstacles, has anti- tangle safeguards that stop it from munching its way through cables and has a scheduling feature that lets it start cleaning even when you are not at home.

Its local distributor Mationz Technology provides sales, repair services and spare parts support at Fiesta Ampang Shopping Complex ( near Ampang Korean Village).

iCLEBO and TerraBot are available at selected electrical chain stores, shopping complexes and hypermarkets in Midvalley Megamall, Bangsar and Wangsa Maju.

Watch product demonstrations, operation and maintenance training conducted by trained personnel at Carrefour Mid Valley Megamall ( Aeon Big) and Bangsar Shopping Complex ( ESH Electrical, Level 3), every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 9pm.

You can also find them at Modern Home Expo ( Booth 1265) in Bukit Jalil from June 19 to 21 for a special Father’s Day offer.

This offer is extended to AeonBIG and ESH Electrical while stocks last.

works better for classic displays.

Glass has to be picked too

It costs a bit more to have non- reflective glass, but it’s usually worth it just to eliminate all those nasty reflections that detract from the enjoyment of a piece.

Even if you plan to hang this piece in a hallway without natural light, you may move the work to a different place in the future.

Seek advice from an artist

It always helps to have expert advice, so if there is someone in your shop who paints or sculpts, ask him for help.
