Search for cat of the year

CAT owners, if you think your feline is gorgeous and lively, and could make the cut for cat of the year, you can take part in Mars Foods Malaysia’s contest. The search is on for Malaysia’s Whiskas National Cat of the Year 2015.

To participate, all you need to do is submit a photo of your furkid through the Whiskas Malaysia Facebook page or by normal post, using the contest form available at outlets selling Whiskas products.

Deadline: July 31.

Each entry must be accompanied by proof of purchase of any Whiskas products purchased between June 1 and July 31.

You may submit as many entries as you wish, in all categories, of the same cat or different cats, but each submission must be accompanied by a different proof of purchase.

Each person is eligible for one prize only.

There are three categories in which you can enter your cat: Bright Eyes, Shiny Fur Coat, and Lively and Energetic.

Depending on the category you choose, the photo that you send in must be a close- up of your cat’s bright, clear eyes or its healthy fur coat, or an action shot of your pet being active and energetic.

Five contestants and their cats will be shortlisted from each category, for the grand finale on Oct 3 at Aeon Ampang Utara 2, Selangor.

The grand prize winner will get RM10,000 cash and a year’s supply of Whiskas products.

Winners in each category will take home RM5,000 cash and a six- month supply of Whiskas products.

The 11 other shortlisted participants will each receive a consolation prize of a six- month supply of Whiskas products.
