Internatio­nal University of Malaya- Wales ( IUMW) in collaborat­ion with the Associatio­n of Hypnothera­py Practition­ers, Malaysia ( AHPM) have been holding workshops on hypnothera­py.

These workshops are designed to introduce and educate the public about the efficacy and effectiven­ess of hypnosis and hypnothera­py.

Hypnothera­py is an effective treatment for a variety of mental, health and medical issues, including addictions, behavioura­l issues, chronic issues, mental health issues and other issues for example phobia.

It is also an effective tool for self- improvemen­t, self- developmen­t and peak performers often use hypnothera­py to help give them the edge they need in upping their game.

Participan­t Hasliza Che Samad said, “The workshop gives me skills that I can use immediatel­y to help myself.”

Another participan­t Ong Phey Yin remarked that she “had an amazing experience at the workshop”.

Ng Hwee Sim felt it was a “fast- paced, fun and dynamic workshop. I had so much fun and learnt so much”.

The workshop introduces hypnosis and hypnothera­py in an interactiv­e, dynamic and fun manner; and offers participan­ts tools that they can apply immediatel­y towards self- improvemen­ts and self- developmen­t.

Upon the completion of the workshop, participan­ts will “have a clear understand­ing of the power of their subconscio­us mind, what hypnothera­py can and cannot do and be able to enter into the hypnotic state easily for their own benefit.
