Epitome of classic elegance
LONGINES, a brand that has generations of experience as official timekeeper of world championships and as a partner of international sports federation, celebrates the refined elegance of equestrian sports with a new chronograph added to the Conquest Classic collection: Conquest Classic Moonphase.
The sophistication of this model, including a moon- phase display, makes it an eminently refined timepiece which echoes the excellence and elegance of the stars of the equestrian universe.
Building on the success of the Conquest Classic line, the Swiss watch brand came up with this new chronograph, subtly combining the brand’s watchmaking tradition, sports heritage and innate sense of sophistication.
The “Conquest” brand was patented through the WIPO in 1954.
Since then, this name has been used for many successful models produced by Longines across the years.
The Conquest Classic collection has joined the brand’s other collections of classical beauty that have helped to make Longines’ reputation and success throughout the world.
This line is dedicated to equestrian sports enthusiasts who do not wish to compromise on elegance.
With a diameter of 42 mm, this chronograph houses the self- wind- ing mechanical chronograph movement L678.
The case is available in three options that are steel, steel and rose gold cap or in 18 carats rose gold.
The black or silvered dial is set with nine applied indices coated with Super- LumiNova and makes an elegantly contrasting background to the moonphase display.
It features the 12- hour counter at 6 o’clock, the 24- hour indicator and the subdial for the seconds at 9 o’clock, as well as the 30- minute counter and the day- and- month display at 12 o’clock.
The date is indicated by a halfmoon central hand.
Water- resistant to 5 bar, this model displays a transparent case back through which its scintillating movement can be observed.
It comes fitted on a black alligator strap or a steel or steel and rose gold cap bracelet.
Longines also launched a new collection, the Longines Symphonette.
A contemporary interpretation of elegance, the unique oval shape of the case, the sophisticated mesh of the bracelet and the refined dial are like notes that come together in an impeccably controlled arrangement.
The oval diamond- set steel case of this model houses a quartz movement while the mother- ofpearl dial is adorned with inlaid Arabic numerals.
