An alerting app that helps people with a hearing impairment. Your phone vibrates and flashes light to notify you when there is a loud noise nearby.
the Deaf and Hearing Impaired
This app has two feature – it can alert you to loud noises in the vicinity by producing vibrations on your phone and it can convert spoken words into text, both useful for people who are hearing impaired.
Wheelmap
Wheelmap allows you to find out public places, like malls, restaurants, hotels that are wheelchair- accessible through a virtual map.
VoiceOver
Voiceover is a screen reader built into Apple Inc’s operating system which provides spoken descriptions of text on devices, which can be used by people with visual impairment.
talkBack
TalkBack is also a screen reader like VoiceOver, but is only available on Android devices.
