Piano showcase
YAMAHA Music is celebrating the ninth Piano Fair this year. To commemorate this event, there will be a showcase of Yamaha’s flagship Concert Grand Piano and various state- of- the- art new models at Suria KLCC’s Centre Court, from Aug 12 to 16.
A wide range of musical instruments will be available, including the Grand Piano, Upright Piano, Digital Piano, Home Keyboards and Electone Organ.
The fair’s highlight will be Yamaha’s hybrid instruments, the Disklavier and the Silent Piano.
Yamaha Disklavier E3 is the modern day version of the “player piano” or self- playing piano that can record piano performances and play back with all of the expressions and nuances of the original.
Silent Pianos combine the best of acoustic and digital pianos that allow the pianist to “turn off” the acoustic sound and play in superb digital reproduction through stereo headphones. It has a simple recording and playback functions and a range of different sounds, plus “reverb” options for a freedom of expression.
Yamaha is also proud to present a comprehensive line of grand pianos that reflect the company’s continually evolving acoustic and technology.
The nine- foot CFX is a full- sized concert grand piano that takes centre stage at the piano fair. Its rich and clear sounds are made for large concert halls and marks a new milestone in the history of fine piano manufacturing.
The New Yamaha Clavinova Digital Piano CVP700 series combines the best of two finest grand pianos – the Yamaha Concert Grand CFX and the Boesendorfer Imperial.
It offers the outstanding grand piano touch of the GH3X ( Graded Hammer 3X) keyboard with escapement and synthetic ivory keytops to the intuitive colour screen.
Give your inner musician more voices, styles, wireless iPad connectivity and karaoke for countless hours of digital piano entertainment.
Visitors to the fair will also be entertained by the Electone and other performances by young musicians.
Do not miss this golden opportunity to see, touch, feel and experience the spectacular pianos on display.
