AcEr is the first to launch a Windows 10 hybrid laptop in Malaysia with the 2- in- 1 Aspire r 11.
Priced affordably at rM1,499, the r11 has a 11.6in touchscreen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and Zero Air Gap technology for improved contrast and image clarity, even under the sun.
the touchscreen is protected from scratches by corning Gorilla Glass and also has an anti- fingerprint coating to prevent smudges.
Just like some of the company’s other devices, the touchscreen features Bluelight shield for reducing exposure to blue light which causes eye strain. Users have a choice of three modes.
“Acer is dedicated to incorporating the latest innovation in our diverse range of products to maximise technology for our customers,” says Acer sales and services sdn Bhd director of sales and products chan Weng Hong.
As it’s a hybrid device, you can transform the laptop into a tablet and it also has two other modes – display and tent for reorientating the screen.
Acer says the r11’ s versatile dual torque hinge has been reinforced for wobble- free 360° rotation. Even the sound output will be automatically adjusted based on the orientation of the screen.
it’s powered by an intel Pentium N3700 quad- core processor, and has 4GB rAM, 500GB hard disk and intel HD Graphics.
the back has a fabric- textured cover which Acer claims is not only stylish but also gives a firmer grip and is scratch resistant so users don’t have to worry about using it on the go.
the device runs on the 64- bit version of Windows 10 Home and users can expect up to eight hours of power from the 3,220mAh battery.
