Don’t panic
KEEP calm, don’t panic ... and you might just win some cash on Suria FM. The radio station is giving away cash worth RM30,000 in the Saat Panik contest which runs from now until Sept 11.
The contest is simple, really. Be the first caller through at 03- 7224 2115 when you hear a cue to call. Then give the correct six answers in six seconds to walk away with RM250 cash!
The prize will snowball to the next segment if there is no winner at every round. And if you are lucky enough to call during the bonus hour, you will get an extra four seconds to answer the questions!
Saat Panik runs four times a day: Ceria Pagi with Adibah Noor and Baki Zainal, ( weekdays, 5am - 10am), Ceria Suria with Brian Chen, ( weekdays, 10am to 1pm), R& R Suria with Bob Ringgo ( weekdays, 1pm to 4pm) and Ceria Petang with Linda Onn, ( weekdays 4pm to 8pm).

Over at 988, the station is inviting its loyal listeners to join the Golden 40- Second contest which runs from now until Sept 11. Cash prize of RM30,000 await lucky winners.
How does the contest work? The first caller through 03- 7710 3988 after the cue to call gets a shot at answering five questions within 40 seconds. Every correct answer is worth RM50! So in 40 seconds alone, listeners can win up to RM250.
Contestants can choose to pass on questions they have difficulty in answering. If there is still time remaining, they get a second chance to go back to questions they have skipped. If they fail to answer correctly, the prize money will snowball to the next session. The prize may be bigger for the next contestant but to win it all, they need to get all five answers right!
The contest will be featured on three shows: Stand By You ( 10am - 1pm), Y- Life ( 1pm - 4pm) and Good Show ( 4pm - 7.30pm), which take place from Monday to Friday.
