Nurturing community
IIUM CENTRE for Continuing Education ( ICCE) is a wholly owned company of the International Islamic University of Malaysia ( IIUM). It manages the university’s academic programmes on a flexible mode in the main campus as well as outside of the Klang Valley.
ICCE offers a splendid opportunity for working adults to further their studies with IIUM without having to quit their jobs or leave their families.
“We are committed to delivering the best education for adult learners. We provide an ideal avenue for those who are interested to pursue IIUM undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
“Our programmes are delivered faceto- face and with the advancement of technology, these programmes will be complemented with online teaching and learning to reach more prospective students locally and worldwide,” said ICCE director and IIUM Research and Innovation deputy rector Prof Dr Mohamed Ridza Wahiddin.
With accessible centres in Sungai Petani, Johor Baru, Kota Baru, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and the latest in Kuala Terengganu scheduled to be operational in September, more adults will be able to continue studying while working.
“This is in line with our tagline – Nurturing Community via University. It’s important for the students to be able to focus on their studies while not having to compromise their jobs and other commitments to gain the extra mileage in this competitive era,” said ICCE chairman Datuk Jamaluddin Hassan.
The programmes currently offered at the centres are Bachelor in Business Management, Bachelor in Education and Master in Education. These programmes are recognised by JPA and accredited by MQA. ICCE will offer them in Kuala Terengganu for the September intake.
The classes are held on Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends ( first and third week of the month). It is now open for the September intake.
