A smashing opportunity
NOTHING brings Malaysians together more than our love for badminton.
The pleasure and excitement it brings is perhaps second to none; as is the focus and dedication it takes to master this exhilarating sport.
Certainly, no one understands this better than the experts at Michael’s Badminton Academy ( MBA). MBA is organising a special treat for young badminton enthusiasts this school holiday season – the MBA School Holiday Badminton Camp.
MBA is founded by Michael Lee – a badminton enthusiast himself, with the aim of bringing communities together to share their passion for badminton.
Through the sport, MBA also aspires to make a difference by reaching out and promoting the importance and value of healthy living among Malaysians.
A highly anticipated event, the MBA School Holiday Badminton Camp attracts both serious trainers and fun- seekers alike to discover, learn and improve their badminton skills and techniques through a special nonconventional programme tailored for all skill levels.
Among other exciting activities, campers can look forward to a total of 10 hours of specialised badminton training, an all- in unlimited Hall Pass for full use of the facilities at the MBA centres, as well as energising camp activities such as “Mix & Match” sessions, fun games and trial matches where participants can apply what they have learnt from previous sessions.
“In line with MBA’s founding aims, the overarching goal for the MBA School Holiday Badminton Camp is to teach fundamental skills to beginners and enhance the skills and techniques in those who are more advanced.
Unlike a tournament where they compete to win, participants are expected to maintain a learning mindset at all times. This way, they are able to explore and expand their capabilities while contending with each other in a constructive and healthy manner,” explained MBA managing director Lee Kok Choong.
