Author of 20 cookbooks, Ricky Ng was born into a family of great Peranakan cooks and painstakingly documented the means, methods and measurements for all his family recipes, which resulted in Nyonya Kueh. cookbooks like He has worked in numerous hotels and restaurants both locally and internationally, and regularly conducts cooking and baking classes. He is often referred to as the “Walking Encyclopaedia” because of his ability to answer any culinary conundrum without the slightest hesitation.
