Enjoy quality sleep
WHEN lifestyle chiropractor Dr Michael Chan treated his patients, he realised he had to get them to sleep more. He shares that sleeping six hours or less a night is equivalent to 15 years of physiological ageing in just one week. And 66% of the population isn’t getting enough sleep, leading to a loss in concentration, memory, attention span and health.
To sleep well, a good mattress is important. Chan, who graduated from RMIT Australia, discloses that proper mattresses should be:
> Of a reasonable thickness, at least close to a foot.
> Not produce “pockets” that tend to stick out all over the place.
> Have a consistent surface to provide proper support for the whole body.
Chan shared how he chanced upon the Hong Kong and Singapore brand Sea Horse mattresses, pillows and sofas.
