BHPetrol donates

OME 10 charity organisati­ons received RM10,000 each from Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd (BHPetrol) recently as part of their Corporate Social Responsibi­lity (CSR) programme.

Representa­tives from the charity organisati­ons were present to receive the donation which was personally handed out to them by BHPetrol managing director Tan Kim Thiam.

“This donation is one of our ways in helping the charitable organisati­ons to cope with the increasing costs in managing the homes and the people under their care.

“We at BHPetrol are very hon- oured to be part of these initiative­s,” said Tan.

Also present was BHPetrol retail director, James Khoo.

The charity organisati­ons are Rumah Kasih Harmoni, Rumah Ozanam, Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Kanak-kanak Triniti, Persatuan Bagi Orang Buta Malaysia, Dignity for Children Foundation, Rumah Kasih Nurul Hasanah, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Asnaf Al Barakh Malaysia, Persatuan Untuk Orang Kurang Upaya Akal Selangor dan WP, Persatuan Orang Yang Amat Cacat Akal Selangor dan WP and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Malaysia.

The donation was made in con- junction with BHPetrol’s recent promotion through the participat­ion of its customers whereby customers who purchased a minimum of RM30 on fuel were given free tissue boxes and with each flap returned, BHPetrol pledged to donate five sen to the selected charity organisati­ons with a total contributi­on of up to RM100,000.
