The seminar will cover academic choices, how to make the best Universities and Colleges Admissions Service application, and how to succeed in university admissions interviews to distinguished institutions such as Oxbridge.

A Career for the Future in Science and Technology (2.30pm to 3.30pm)
Science and technology have been the cornerstones of advancements as well as ground-breaking achievements in the fields of communications, healthcare, transportation, space travel, energy efficiency and many other areas.
They form the backbone of virtually every industry and cover a wide range of disciplines, from computers to manufacturing, robotics to augmented reality and more.
Students can get a better idea by joining a special panel of speakers to discuss and discover the job opportunities available to science graduates.
The Birds, the Bees and (Neuro)biology (3.30pm to 4.30pm)
Dr Clemens Kiecker, Teaching and Course Leader for Neuroscience at King’s College London, will showcase how neurobiology is at the forefront of medical advancements.
He will also share how neuroscientists study the development, anatomy and physiology of the human brain to help discover newer and more efficient ways of treating disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, autism, depression and schizophrenia.
Actuary, It’s a Science (1.30pm to 2.30pm)
Associate Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton Dr Jim H. Renshaw will explain how pursuing an actuary degree in the United Kingdom can be a stepping stone to a successful career.
Actuaries are experts in analysing risk, an important aspect in calculating financial outcomes. They are highly coveted among financial institutions and other industries such as insurance.
May the Course be With You (4.30pm to 5.30pm)
University of Reading regional manager Heather McKeever will provide guidance for students who are fresh out of school and unsure of what career path to pursue.
