Salim has hated his ill-tempered, alcoholic, gambling-addicted father Sulaiman ever since his childhood when he and his mother were constant victims of the man’s abuse. The final straw came when Sulaiman broke Salim’s coin bank and used the money he had saved at the gambling den. Now a university graduate and in a relationship of his own, Salim still harbours a profound hatred for his father – but somehow can’t be free of him.
