Realising ImPossible dreams

-

IACT College recently launched the ImPossible Scholarship.

Unlike other scholarships, ImPossible Scholarship offers potential high achievers with not only bursary discounts, but also lifestyle allowance and is replete with job prospects.

This scholarship is the first of its kind.

If you’ve always been keen to take part in creative communication, the scholarships will now be a motivating factor for you to be empowered with creativity and new possibilities, which include career opportunities.

IACT College executive chairman Alicia Chew says: “Since IACT College has close ties with the industry, many big players such as Nestle, Genting and Monster Interactive have praised how our students are well prepared and capable according to industry standards. With the companies’ support and expertise, this scholarship will not just empower young minds to achieve their dreams but help relieve some of their financial burdens.”

Genting Malaysia Bhd marketing vice-president Chow Wei Heng says: “I have worked with students of IACT College on many projects. They are creatively versatile. The ImPossible Scholarship will definitely empower their creativity.”

Parents and students can also be assured that there are many options to choose from, ranging from foundation and diploma to degree programmes.

The ImPossible Scholarship is one of the efforts of the #ProjectImPossible campaign currently running at IACT College.

It also captures the essence of IACT College in nurturing fresh talents, positioning the college as the brand leader in the creative communication or media education industry.

Fields of studies viable for the scholarship include advertising, mass communication, marketing, broadcasting, communication studies, creative multimedia, graphic design, public relations, event management and media studies.

Successful applicants will receive up to 100% scholarship (waiver of tuition fee only) for stipulated tertiary programmes conducted at IACT College and guaranteed internship opportunity with a world-class company throughout their college career and simultaneously be considered for full-time employment upon graduation.

Another great feat is that part of the scholarship will be given in the form of lifestyle allowance to help students live a creative city lifestyle.

IACT College is the only creative communication college in Malaysia with over three decades of teaching and professional training excellence approved and co-founded by the Malaysian Advertisers

Among the facets that make IACT College unique is the small classroom management strategically located in the commercial hub of VSQ @ PJ City Centre in Petaling Jaya, which allows students a creative infused place to study yet remain industry-relevant.

Classes are mostly coursework and project-based learning, many in collaboration with companies – training students to think, perform and present in real-life professional settings.

An alumni of IACT College, Nestle Malaysia consumer marketing manager Chris Chan says: “IACT College is different because of its strong connection with the marketing communications industry. Its students are versatile and job ready.”
