It offers core subjects that would deepen the knowledge as well as practical skills in their respective fields.

The subject-specific modules include English language tuition and study skills to equip the students for university level education. A successful completion of the required standard of the foundation year would lead to a place in a variety of City University bachelor’s degree programme.

At City University, the foundation programme offers a variety of courses such as Foundation in Science, Information Technology (IT), Business and Arts such Communication, Graphic Design and Multimedia, English and Built Environment.

These programmes are comprehensive and recognised by the Higher Education Ministry and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

City University also offers scholarships to eligible students.

Scholarships worth RM20mil will be awarded to students who excel in various areas, including academic excellence, leadership and sports. The offer is open to everyone and straight A’s results are not mandatory.
