Celebrating Earth

- Datin Wendy Teo is the principal of Eaton International School.

“We want world-class education that is accessible to bright and ambitious thinkers,” saysTeo.

If you missed the recent Open Day, Eaton will have an Open Week from now to April 8. It will be offering interactive school tours and information sessions for parents as well as trial classes for students with opportunities to meet its outstanding teaching team and dedicated heads of school.

Eaton will also be offering a rebate on its application fee. IT is vital for every individual to develop an appreciation for our planet and all it has to offer. What better time to teach the importance of protecting the environment than to begin with our little ones?

As such, Smart Reader Worldwide has kicked off the Save Earth, Save Us! campaign in conjunction with the upcoming Earth Day.

The campaign is designed to encourage children to create a better, healthier and cleaner environment wherever they are.

Throughout April, fun-filled activities are carried out on a global scale in all Smart Reader Kids centres, aimed at educating children on the importance of mother nature and how we can help save the planet in creative ways, one small step at a time.

To promote environmental awareness in honour of Earth Day, Lim Pey Tin, franchisee of Smart Reader Kids Taman Sri Pulai 2, Seremban, which offers the Smart Reader Kids Intensive English Programme, taught kids to respect.

These activities teach children that everyday activities can have a big impact on the environment, thus assisting them to develop lifelong sustainable habits from a young age.

The Smart Reader Kids fraternity strongly believes in the importance of developing an appreciation for the environment among children.

The educational programmes offered by Smart Reader Worldwide are Smart Reader Kids, Smart Reader Kids Islamic, Smart Reader Kids Mandarin Medium, Smart Reader Kids Intensive English Programme, Smart Reader Kids Tamil Language Programme, and Smart Reader Kids++ franchises.
