Pals with superpowers

TIM and Mary were celebrating the New Year with their parents, Mr and Mrs Thomas. They ordered a cake with Tim and Mary’s favourite characters, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

At midnight, they were all very excited. Just as Tim was about to cut the cake, Mickey and Minnie suddenly came to life.

“Happy New Year!” Mickey and Minnie greeted the whole family.

“If you don’t eat the cake, we can do whatever you want,” said Mickey and Minnie.

The whole family was stunned. They could not believe what was happening. They pinched each other to see if they were dreaming.

Tim and Mary wanted to test what Mickey and Minnie could do for them. The children asked for 10 scoops of ice cream on a cone. To their amazement, 10 ice cream cones appeared in front of them.

They could not believe their eyes. They gave Mickey and Minnie another test: change their house into Disneyland. Within seconds, the whole house turned into Disneyland and they saw Disney characters dancing in their house.

Tim and Mary screamed and jumped for joy. They hugged Mickey and Minnie.

For the next few days, the family had the best time of their lives. Mickey and Minnie did wonders in their house.

Soon the holidays ended and school reopened. Tim and Mary were reluctant to return to school as they would miss spending time with Mickey and Minnie. But Mickey and Minnie advised the children to go to school. They made the kids promise not to tell the other schoolchildren what had happened.

Tim and Mary agreed and went back to school. Mickey and Minnie helped the children with their homework. They ironed their uniforms and prepared a delicious lunch box for them to take to school every day.

One day, when Tim and Mary were on their way home, they saw a few homeless children with tattered clothes. The children were hungry.

Tim and Mary were sad to see the condition of the children. They rushed home and told Mickey and Minnie about the homeless kids. Mickey and Minnie asked Tim and Mary to pack clothes and toys that they wanted to donate to the children. They were also given lots of food to feed the hungry children.

Tim and Mary found some wood and built a small hut for the homeless children. They gave the poor children food, clothes and toys.

When Tim and Mary’s friends heard about the homeless children, they also started donating foodstuff. From that day onwards, Tim and Mary did a lot of good deeds with the help of their secret friends.
