COME have some fun at the 988 City event, and you could walk away with cash and prizes worth a total of RM20,000!

Fans of the Chinese radio station 988 will also get to meet their favourite radio deejays at the event, which was launched on Wednesday, and is open from 10am to 10pm daily till Sunday at One Utama (Old Wing), Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Modelled after a mini metropolis – complete with amusement park, main stage, games and merchandise booths – 988 City is the final stop of the radio station’s monthlong #988CityHunter tour around Malaysia.

Visitors to the event will be given a “passport”, which they will use to play games at the various game booths to win prizes and collect passport stamps. Each fullystamped passport entitles the holder to a chance at winning bigger prizes, including RM10,000 cash, by collecting the most points in the two main challenge games – “Dance for Fun” and “Virtual Reality”.

The booths will be manned by selected 988 deejays each day, so this is also a chance for fans to get to meet the faces behind their favourite radio shows, including DJ Sam, DJ Piao Ming, DJ Anson, DJ Cheryl Low and others.

Besides the activities, visitors will also be entertained by local entertainers such as Hanz Guo Wen Han, Natalia, Danny One, Cheryl Lee, Ribbon Ooi and Daniel Che among others.

The Main Sponsor of 988 City is Cuckoo International (M) Sdn Bhd. The Star’s online streaming platform dimsum is the Official Brand Partner, and HomeDec is the Official Home Design Interior Exhibition.

988 is part of Star Media Radio Group.
