Big, user-friendly oven
RINNAI’S new oven is its biggest one yet and will ease your worries of the food being too large to fit into the oven.
The RO-E6208TA-EM offers an extra large cavity at 70L, compared to conventional sizes of 56 to 58L.
As more people start cooking at home or bake as a hobby, oven space can be a problem, said Rinnai marketing manager Jean Se.
“Some home cooks actually have two ovens – a built-in one (and) a portable,” says Se. Those with only one oven have to cook or bake in batches.
Some families cannot cook an entire meal at one-go with conventional ovens, especially large families. Side dishes cannot fit in and must be cooked separately on a stove top.
Se said that the new oven with the extra large cavity relieves home cooks of such problems. The extra space also helps cooks avoid crowding the oven, which can lead to burnt food as the heat gets trapped between the trays, resulting in an extremely high temperature.
Apart from providing more airflow, Rinnai has also installed three-dimensional circular fans in the ovens, encouraging an even distribution of heat.
For those keen to cook different kinds of food together but are afraid the aromas will mix, the circular fan ensures food on each shelf is cooked separately and stops scents from being transferred to each other.
The RO-E6208TA-EM features eight functions (including the oven light) for versatile cooking styles, such as “delicate cook”, grill, bake, conventional heating, upper heater, grill and fan, and defrost.
You can also control cooking fully by using the sensor touch digital timer with an “automatic cooking with delayed start” that lets you start or stop cooking at any time.
You can leave the kitchen temporarily without worrying about burnt food with the countdown timer.
Rinnai’s products are aimed to be easier to clean. The oven comes with a removable glass door so you can reach in easier when cleaning the oven interior.
The glass on the door can also be taken out and cleaned piece-by-piece.
Cleaning is simple – fill a container with hot water and lemon juice, bake it for 30mins at 120°C, wipe the grease off with a microfibre cloth when oven has cooled.
The glass door is also made of triple glazed mirror reflective glass, giving it a polished and sleek look.
The large viewing window lets you watch the progress of your cooking.
