Yeah, that’s basically the story of this movie – a bunch of prehistoric animals have to try and stop their own extinction from happening. It’s like the writers aren’t even trying to make sense anymore.

Egged on by his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor storms into the frost giant realm of Jotunheim and tears up the place, sparking off a new war between the realms. A furious Odin takes away Thor’s powers and separates him from his hammer, Mjolnir, before banishing him to Midgard (that’s Earth to us mere mortals). Sorry, Thor, no more hammer time for you.
