IF you are searching for a place that offers an international business degree and a world-class education at reasonable prices in Malaysia, then you should register the Bachelor of Science Business and Management course by the University of London (UOL).

This course is available at Advance Tertiary College (ATC) starting August this year. ATC uses a combination of traditional and contemporary teaching-learning strategies so that the students are well versed and well-rounded.

With subjects such as human resource management and financial management, this three-year course is academically directed by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Since 1895, LSE has been regarded as an international centre of academic excellence an innovation.

UOL graduates have been hired at top organisations such as law firms, multinational companies and major professional services firms. There are also some who have pursued their education at the world’s best universities such as University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, LSE, Harvard University and the National University of Singapore.

“ATC had assisted me with excelling in education and widening my horizon of the business world,” says Julaine Lee, a former student of ATC. The advantage of the standardised system set by UOL is that, if a student has to relocate to another country, he can continue his studies from any part of the world without any difficulties.

Grant Thornton International is one of the world’s leading accounting and consulting firms, with more than 2,600 partners in more than 100 countries. Its member firm in Singapore, Foo Kon Tan LLP, currently employs around 20 UOL graduates.

UOL graduates have been hired at top organisations such as law firms, multinational companies and major professional services firms.

Ong Soo Ann, a partner at Grant Thornton finds UOL graduates who studied at Singapore Institute of Management a good fit for the firm. “I would say they are every employer’s dream. They are independent, street-smart, possess a certain level of maturity and are willing to learn. Professionals need a full range of skills apart from technical proficiency,” says Ong.

In light of ATC’s 30th anniversary, applicants are entitled to apply for the Tan Sri P. Alagendra scholarship. ATC is also offering to 25% rebates for the diploma and degree programmes.
