Weezer Mexican Fender

I HAVE to admit, I was a little disappointed that this wasn’t actually a song about a Mexican fender (that’s a guitar, folks). But it IS a decent comeback from the prolific Weezer, whose output have not quite lived up to their early work in recent years.

This second single off of Weezer’s upcoming 2017 album Pacific Daydream is a mid-tempo foot-tapper of a love song. The lyrics have the usual Weezer storytelling wit, and frontman Rivers Cuomo has said that it’s written about a real person.
