Make-up meets fashion
A collaboration between a beauty brand and designer brings about a limited edition beauty line.
TO bring chic back, Laneige is introducing super stylish packaging for its newest line of make-up products under its Laneige Meets Fashion project.
The annual project, which started four years ago, features trendy collaborations between beauty and fashion that exudes innovation and fun beyond imagination.
The Laneige X YCH presents classic herringbone meets retro polka dots in the brand’s Skin Veil Base Dot Cushion, Eyebrow Cushion-Cara and new Two Tone Matte Lip Bar.
Inspired by K-beauty and K-fashion, Laneige collaborates with South Korea’s up-and-coming designer, Yoon Choon Ho. The brand YCH is acclaimed internationally, having established a following in not only Korea, but also Hong Kong, China, the United States and Canada.
The Laneige Meets Fashion 2017 collection presents a new limitededition line of beauty products influenced by the YCH signature of an elegant mix of classic beauty laced with punk and femininity. Fans of YCH include celebrities such as Rihanna, Kim Yoonah and Lee Sung Kyoung.
This year, the Laneige X YCH limited-edition collection takes inspiration from YCH’s fall collection of 80’s Modern Glamour. What’s neat is that this unique pattern is embossed on wool for an elevated textural experience.
This new collection design features on the newly formulated Skin Veil Base Dot Cushion (SPF 14, PA+), Two Tone Matte Lip Bar and Eyebrow Cushion-Cara.
Laneige’s reformulation of the Skin Veil Base Cushion includes Fitting Dot, a new blending technology that helps the make-up base seamlessly blend into the skin with every dab.
The Cushion also now comes with ingredients from the brand’s Waterbank Essence that acts as natural moisturising agents that maintains the optimum moisture balance in the skin. – Sandra Low
