An elderly woman named Kim Sun-yi, who has been living in the United States, receives a call to return to her hometown in South Korea. She is greeted by her granddaughter, Eun-joo. On the way to their home, Sun-yi recalls her memory of teaching a feral boy how to act like a normal human being. Oh look, it’s Song Joong-ki as the most handsome and least-frightening werewolf of all time. This should be good.

Yes, that’s not a typo. The title really does spell it “Hairy” and not “Harry”. This 1993 Hong Kong film stars the two Tony Leungs – Chiu-Wai and Ka Fai – as well as Lawrence Cheng as three bachelors with three different stories to tell. Tom is torn between a material girl and a prostitute. Dick is a womaniser and eventually gets hurt by his only regular lover. And last but not least, Hairy stumbles along the road of love. Maybe start with a haircut first, Hairy?

Now that’s a lot of loose ends to tie up. But since it’s only the first episode of the season, it’s probably best to not lose your head over it.

All the villagers love Cat’s cooking so much that they suggest she should open up a stall during Ramadan. But when she does, another villager named Shak, who also runs a food stall, becomes hostile as he sees her as a competitor. Seeing this, Koji and Nurain (Shak’s daughter) try to find a way to make peace between them.
