Turn your home into a smart one
The Philips Hue is a smart wireless lighting system that you can control with your smartphone.
PHILIPS Hue, the smart wireless lighting system that allows users to control their lights remotely, is finally here.
The system allows users to personalise their lighting experience from a spectrum of colours using the Philips Hue app for Android and iOS devices.
The lights can also be programmed to switch on or off at specific times, which is especially handy when you are away on a vacation.
It also supports Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit so you can just use voice command to control the bulbs.
“The future belongs to connected living, with smart homes being a key driver today,” said Alok Ghose, Philips Lighting regional managing director for Malaysia, Singapore and exports.
Philips Hue uses the open ZigBee Light Link standard so it can also be integrated with other ZigBee certified systems.
The Starter Kit includes three bulbs and a Bridge that allows the user to control up to 50 bulbs, 12 switches and other accessories.
The Starter Kit costs RM899 while the bulbs go for RM279 each and the Light Strip ranges from RM129 to RM399. The Bridge, without which the lights cannot be controlled, can also be purchased separately for RM279.
Philips Hue is available in Philips Lighting store, authorised Philips Lighting outlets and select Apple Reseller stores. It can also be purchased online from the official store on Lazada.
