The Sea Of Trees
This film tells a beautiful story of a man’s undying love for his deceased wife. Following the death of his wife, Arthur Brennan (Matthew McConaughey) falls into a depression. He decides he will take his own life in the Aokigahara Forest – a place known as the “Suicide Forest” or “Sea of Trees” located at the base of Mount Fuji, Japan. As he ventures through the forest, Brennan stumbles upon Takumi Nakamura (Ken Watanabe), a Japanese man who also intends to end his life. However, as they continue their trek, the duo begins to realise that life is still worth living. But now they have one problem – they’re lost in the forest with no way to contact the outside world. hearing to discuss the fallout from the Paraguay mission.
