AT Honda Malaysia’s 90 authorised dealers, customers get the benefits of tools, expertise and genuine parts tailored for every Honda car.
They follow a strict Standard Service Transaction (SST), which is an operation manual to provide the best care for Honda cars.
This includes vehicle maintenance records, and protecting steering wheel, fender and seats from possible dents and scratches, and running diagnostics.
Honda authorised service dealers also use DST-i, which is a diagnostic tool for checking the system trouble code/parameters in a Honda car.
Meanwhile, the ESM (Electronic Shop Manual) provides a specific systematic procedure for Honda technicians.
Honda authorised service dealers are staffed by qualified technicians with certified technical college background, led by senior experts.
Only Honda Genuine Parts are used, and these are proven to be superior to conventional or non-genuine parts.
The automaker offers 12 benefits designed to provide Honda car owners with the joy of driving for years to come.
These benefits are a preventive maintenance service schedule; a 10,000km service interval; free labour service; 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage; minimum 15% parts discount; genuine parts; skilled technicians; special tools; a bulk oil system; high-quality fuel strainer and pollen filter; Honda Insurance Package (HIP) and customer comfort.
New Honda car owners are advised to send their cars to Honda authorised service centres at the 1,000km service interval.
Labour charges do not apply/are free for all inspections at the first 1,000km service interval, where Honda technicians will inspect the items such as engine oil and drain plug washer, the CVT fluid, brake fluid, coolant, lighting and tyre pressure.
Subsequent service intervals will be at 10,000km or 6 months (depending on model), whichever comes first.
Regarding Honda Malaysia’s 5-year unlimited mileage warranty, it covers the engine, transmission, drivetrain, cooling system, air and fuel system, front and rear suspension, steering and brake system, electrical system, air-conditioner, body interior and body exterior, casings, and standard and optional accessories.
