Multimedia is about handing over information effectively and efficiently through the integrated use of a range of media text, audio, graphics, animation, video and human-computer interaction.
Its techniques have numerous application areas, including in entertainment, education, engineering, medicine and scientific research.
Realising the rapid expansion of the world of multimedia technology and high demand for trained and skillful manpower in this field, MSU College offers the Diploma in Multimedia Technology through its School of Science and Technology.
This course involves learning scientific and technical principles of media capture and computer representation, methods of operation and application of the computer software and systems that enable delivery of multimedia productions.
Graduates in this course can look forward to a rewarding career as a technical professional who provide support to a wide range of opportunities in the design and application of information communication systems based on software technologies.
The entry qualification for this two-and-ahalf year programme is a pass with three credits in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM/ SPMV) with priority given to Mathematic and Science subjects.
With the diploma from MSU College, students will obtain credit transfer upon enrolling in the Management & Science University (MSU).
The credit transfer given will secure students a place in the second year of degree level at the Faculty of Information Sciences & Engineering (FISE).
