To improve the chances for entry into the very popular BDS, applicants are advised to sign up for their Foundation in Science programme (FiS).
MMMC’s FiS is a one-year pre-university course completed solely in the Melaka campus amid the serene surroundings of Bukit Baru.
MMMC’s Foundation course is unique and built to prepare students for the MBBS and BDS undergraduate degrees.
The inclusion of subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, and Oral Biology at Foundation level provides a better insight into these subjects, while preparing the students for the undergraduate programme.
Despite the rigours and intensity of the course, it is promising to note that the FiS has a remarkable success rate of 95% and above.
Students who have been through the foundation have found that the solid groundwork in the FiS has made for a steeper learning curve when they eventually move on to their degree studies.
Incentive for parents who would like their children to obtain the Manipal University degree is that the FiS student is given top priority into MMMC’s MBBS and BDS programmes.
