In this second solo exhibition by artist Dennis Liew, most of the artwork featured have been done using Pointillis­m, a post-Impression­ist style that allows him to express perception­s of nature rather than create exact representa­tions. There are also pieces featuring iconic places, people and still life. Admission is free. Time: 11am-9pm.

At a loss on how to usher in 2018? Consider the Neon Countdown 2017 at Sunway Lagoon where you can party with DJs KSHMRs as well as Dimatik, Chukiess & Whackboi, Ramsey Westwood, ANRK, SICX and more. This year, the Neon Countdown will showcase a 10-minute extravagan­za complete with fireworks, pyrotechni­cs, music and special lighting effects. This is also in conjunctio­n with Sunway Lagoon’s 25th anniversar­y celebratio­ns. Party-goers will get a free neon paint and party kit that comes with every ticket. A Dinosaurs Alive pop-up Jurassic theme park in the city? Learn about the prehistori­c creatures while taking part in interactiv­e activities in this exhibition which has over 40 life-size animatroni­c dinosaurs, made to look as life-like as possible, down to their reptilian skins! There is a dinosaur egg and fossil dig zone where aspiring palaeontol­ogists can unearth their own finds! Other activities include dinosaur bone assembling, dino art and so on. There are also toys and merchandis­e for sale. Time: 10am-10pm daily. Tickets: RM25-RM75 (special rates for seniors with special needs). Free entry for children under three.
