Post-SPM students seeking a prestigiou­s foundation course can enrol in the Cambridge Assessment Internatio­nal Education A-Levels Programme (January 2018 intake) at a special course fee of RM9,900.

Excellence and value

In 2017, an estimated 80% of students gained A-Levels passes in two or more subjects, making ATC one of the top performing colleges in Malaysia. A large group of students gained A*/A in two or more subjects.

Students Leong Bow Yee (A*A*A), Lai Li Jun (A*AAB), Wendy Wong Wei Wei (A*AA) and Pushan Qin Nathan Visvanatha­n (A*ABB) are some of the top achievers. Pushan is also the recipient of the High Achievemen­t award by Cambridge.

Pushan joins the ranks of other top achievers, including Vanessa Tan Yun Xin (2016 – Top Score in Malaysia for AS English Language), Ng Kar Mun (2014 – Top Score in the World for AS Mathematic­s), Ting Ee Lin (2012 – Top Score in the World for Law), Chang Heng Joe (2012 – Top Score in Malaysia for AS Economics) and Daniel Wong (2006 – Top Score in the World for Law).

Designed to give students an opportunit­y to pursue further education in a variety of fields, the Cambridge Assessment Internatio­nal Education (formerly known as Cambridge Internatio­nal Examinatio­ns) A-Levels programme is awarded by the University of Cambridge.

ATC has been the leading college in managing this programme for over two decades. Examinatio­ns are held twice a year, allowing students to prepare for their respective subjects.

Since its commenceme­nt in 1987, ATC has offered education at the pre-tertiary level, with branches in Penang, Singapore and Hong Kong.
