SK-II has a spa now

FANS of premium Japanese skincare brand SK-II will now have access to a luxurious spa that utilises all the brand’s skincare products.

The SK-II Boutique Spa has just opened its doors at The Gardens in Kuala Lumpur and it’s the second location in the world, after Singapore where it was first launched.

Calvin Ng, a Malaysian based in Singapore, is the founder and MD of Senze Salus Pte Ltd, the company that conceptualised the world’s first SK-II Boutique Spa in 2004.

Prior to setting up Senze Salus, Ng had over 20 years of experience with the SK-II brand as he had worked with Procter & Gamble (P&G), the brand owner of SK-II. Leveraging this experience and know-how Ng won over P&G to agree on the establishment of an exclusive SK-II Spa.

“We are excited about our expansion to Malaysia and are looking forward to welcoming Malaysians to enjoy the spa’s celebrated techniques and our innovative treatments,” says Ng.

The boutique spa promises consumers an extensive menu of premium facial treatments using only SK-II products, a luxurious spa ambience and exceptional service with personalised touches.

Spanning 213 sq m (2,300 sq ft) the spa boasts twelve luxuriously appointed treatment suites, a generously-spaced waiting area and refreshments, an SK-II beauty bar and a retail section.

The luxury experience starts with the Senzational Bed, where customers enjoy the sumptuousness of a two-inch thick natural feather mattress topper, coupled with soft, smooth cotton linens and comforter. For added comfort, a heated mattress pad and leg pillow is also provided.

For complete relaxation the spa promises a quiet and restful environment for the customer with therapists trained to be mindful along with sound-proofed walls in the treatment suites.

Signature treatments include the SK-II Senzational Facial which tackles multiple skin concerns and incorporates a specially curated SK-II’s 55-step facial massage technique that helps to rejuvenate cells, detoxify and revitalise tired skin.

For those looking for an exceptional facial treatment, the Senze Oxygenated Facial delivers up to 98% of pure oxygen directly to the epidermis. A stream of high-pressurised oxygen infused with SK-II Facial Treatment Essence is applied to the face, resulting in a plumper and firmer skin, that shows off a healthier glow. –
