Jazz and City in White Orchid Pearl colour

-

COLOURS make the world go round. And for Honda Malaysia, its White Orchid Pearl colour is enough to go to town about it.

The colour, it said, would replace Taffeta White for the Jazz, City, BR-V and HR-V.

However, the new colour availability for the BR-V and HR-V would only start in the third week of February.

As it is a “premium” colour, White Orchid Pearl costs RM120 for the petrol versions of the Jazz and City, and RM300 for the BR-V and H-RV.

The waiting period for the four models is between one and two months.

The company first introduced the White Orchid Pearl colour in the locally-assembled Civic model and then followed by Accord in 2016.

Since its introduction for both models, the new colour has received positive response from customers and to-date the new premium colour contributed 38% for Civic and 33% for Accord of its respective overall sales.

Because of its growing popularity, the colour was then introduced in the CR-V last year, accounting for 26% of overall CR-V sales to date.

In another development, the company has retained its No.1 position as the non-national brand for three consecutive years.

The company has also kept its No.2 position in overall total industry volume for two years in a row.

The company has also posted sales of 109,511 units last year, setting an alltime high record since the company’s establishment in 2003.

The company currently holds a 19% share of the local market, the highest ever achieved in its history.

Since 2003 and in the span of 14 years, the company has managed to sell more than 730,000 units of

Honda vehicles in Malaysia.

The City is Honda Malaysia’s best-selling model in 2017, contributing 27% of total sales, followed by HR-V at 17%, BR-V at 16% and Civic at 14%.
