Get crimping

-

LOVE it or hate it, crimping is back.

The 80s-inspired hair look is taking centrestage at the Fashion Week catwalks and it’s looking a lot more edgy and modern.

This season ghd or good hair day, a British manufacturer of hair care products, has created the ghd contour, a limited edition hair styling tool to help you get that modern crimp.

“Texture and crimping is definitely back, but not as you know it, it’s now a lot softer and subtle than it used to be, and it’s certainly more wearable. Bring the trend up-todate by avoiding crimping all of your hair. Instead, experiment with different sections for a dual texture effect. Crimping is one of those trends that everyone is scared of but it never goes away,” says Adam Reed, ghd global brand ambassador in a press statement.

The ghd contour key features include advanced ceramic heat technology which lets the tool heat up to 185°C and it comes with multi-dimensional plates. It switches off after half an hour and includes a protective plate guard.

With the advanced ceramic heat technology and multi-dimensional plates, the ghd contour lets you add depth and a bold texture to any look, to instantly enhance shape and volume.

“Crimping is a session stylist’s secret to creating incredible volume and big hair. We all carry a crimper in our kit as they’re incredible for adding volume and texture, so I’m thrilled to be involved in creating this new super tool for ghd!” Reed says. – Sandra Low
