Improve your writing skills

-

AN article published in an American University publication, The State Press (2018), stressed that “many students lack writing skills that will be vital to their future careers. It is important for students to become better writers in order to be successful in their future careers”.

Understanding the importance of good writing skills, the exclusive ELS Advanced Writing Programme aims to help secondary school students (16-18 years) develop competence and confidence in their writing ability.

But that is not all, if you join ELS Subang Jaya or ELS Johor Baru, you are entitled for early bird offers (interest-free easy payment schemes also available) and even scholarships.

Launching this month, these advanced writing classes will be held every Saturday at all ELS Language Centres where students get to explore ideas and concepts that will captivate readers and writers alike.

Developed around interesting current topics and events, this programme focuses on building strong language and literacy skills to help students write compelling and expressive essays.

Developing writing abilities

The programme features a discovery process and writing practice in a variety of genres and styles.

Writing is an important skill required for further studies and students will develop the skill using lessons and materials specially designed by ELS.
